Anker SOLIX F3800

The Anker SOLIX F3800 is a high-output portable power station designed for demanding applications including home backup, RVs, caravanning, van life and off-grid use. With a 3.84kWh LiFePO4 battery and 6000W AC output, it can supply substantial power to multiple appliances and equipment from a single unit. The system can also be expanded with additional batteries when greater energy storage is required. Solar charging, direct EV and RV connections, app control and a wheeled design make the Anker SOLIX F3800 a flexible alternative to conventional portable generators for a range of mobile and backup power requirements.

Key Features of Anker SOLIX F3800

The Anker SOLIX F3800 is designed around high-power energy storage rather than engine-driven generation, making its battery capacity, output requirements and charging arrangements important considerations. It can be used as a standalone power station or incorporated into a larger energy storage setup, depending on the accessories and expansion batteries selected.

6000W Output for Demanding Loads

The Anker SOLIX F3800 delivers up to 6000W of AC output at 230V, providing the capacity to run multiple high-demand appliances from one power station. A 9000W surge output is also specified for suitable equipment requiring additional power during start-up. This makes the F3800 suitable for applications where smaller portable power stations may not provide enough continuous output.

3.84kWh Battery with Expansion Options

The integrated 3840Wh LiFePO4 battery provides a substantial store of energy for home backup, mobile use and off-grid applications. Up to six Anker SOLIX BP3800 expansion batteries can be added, increasing the system's capacity to 26.88kWh. The expansion option is particularly useful when longer periods of backup power are required and available charging opportunities are limited.

Solar Charging for Off-Grid Power

The F3800 accepts up to 2400W of solar input, allowing compatible solar panels to be used as a charging source away from the mains. Anker states that the unit can charge from 0 to 80% in around 1.5 hours using suitable solar input and optimal sunlight conditions. Actual solar charging performance will depend on the panels used, available sunlight and installation conditions.

Direct RV and EV Charging

Dedicated connections make the F3800 particularly relevant to mobile power applications, with an RV port for supplying compatible recreational vehicles directly. Anker also provides an EV connection that can deliver up to 2990W for compatible electric vehicles using the appropriate charging cable. These capabilities can reduce the need for separate power equipment when travelling or operating away from fixed electrical supplies.

Portable Design and Smart Energy Management

Despite its substantial capacity and output, the F3800 is designed for movement using integrated handles and industrial-grade castor wheels. The Anker app provides remote monitoring and control through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing users to view energy information and manage selected settings from a compatible mobile device. The unit also uses LiFePO4 battery technology alongside temperature management and durable components for regular portable and backup use.
