The Bluetti AC180T (1800W) stands apart from conventional portable power stations through its removable B70 battery architecture. Alongside the convenience of interchangeable storage, it provides substantial AC power, rapid recharging and a range of connections, although its full 1,800W output depends on having both batteries installed.
The AC180T uses two removable 716.8Wh B70 LiFePO₄ batteries to provide a combined 1,433.6Wh capacity. The batteries are also hot-swappable, allowing a battery to be replaced while the power station remains in use, although connected loads must remain within the unit's limits during the process.
With both B70 batteries installed, the AC180T delivers up to 1,800W of AC power through its 230V outlets. Its Power Lifting Mode can increase the output to 2,700W for suitable resistive loads, which can be useful for compatible heating appliances and other high-power equipment. When operating with only one battery, the AC output is limited to 1,200W, so the battery configuration should be considered when planning your power requirements.
The AC180T supports mains, solar and vehicle charging, giving users several ways to replenish its battery away from the grid. AC charging can reach 1,440W with both batteries installed, while solar input supports up to 500W from compatible panels. Under suitable conditions, Bluetti states that the unit can reach 80% charge in approximately 45 minutes using its maximum AC charging capability.
A selection of AC, USB and DC connections allows the AC180T to power different types of equipment from a single portable system. Two 230V AC outlets are complemented by two 100W USB-C ports, two USB-A ports and a regulated 12V vehicle-style outlet. This makes it suitable for charging personal electronics and operating compatible appliances, with the total available output depending on the battery configuration and power source.
The interchangeable B70 batteries form part of Bluetti's SwapSolar approach, with the same battery format designed to work with the compatible Bluetti MultiCooler. This provides additional flexibility for users who want to move battery capacity between compatible equipment rather than keeping storage fixed to one device. Bluetooth connectivity and the Bluetti app also allow the AC180T to be monitored and managed from a compatible mobile device.
