The Bluetti EB70 (700W) combines a relatively compact format with a useful selection of outputs and a sizeable battery for its class. When assessing the EB70, consider the power demands of your equipment, how long you need it to run and whether mains, vehicle or solar charging best suits your intended use.
Despite its compact size, the EB70 incorporates a 1,000W pure sine wave inverter for powering compatible AC equipment. Its two 220-240V sockets provide a combined 1,000W output, with up to 1,400W available as surge power for suitable equipment. This makes it appropriate for devices such as mini fridges, projectors and other appliances whose running requirements fall within the unit's limits.
The EB70 stores 716Wh of energy in a lithium iron phosphate battery, providing a useful reserve for portable and backup power applications. Bluetti states that the battery can retain 80% of its capacity after more than 2,500 charge cycles, although actual lifespan varies according to usage and charging conditions. ECO Mode can also switch off the inverter during periods of low demand or inactivity, helping reduce unnecessary energy consumption.
A variety of connections makes the EB70 suitable for charging and powering different types of equipment from one unit. It features two 100W USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, two regulated 12V DC5521 outputs, a 12V/10A car port and a 15W wireless charging pad alongside its AC sockets. This arrangement is particularly useful when several phones, laptops, cameras, lights or other compatible devices need power simultaneously.
The EB70 can be replenished using an AC supply, compatible solar panels or a vehicle connection, allowing it to adapt to different locations and routines. Its solar input supports up to 200W, with the built-in MPPT technology helping manage energy from compatible panels. The available charging rate and recharge time depend on the chosen charging method and conditions, including the amount of sunlight available for solar charging.
Weighing approximately 9.7kg and measuring around 320 × 216 × 221mm, the EB70 is designed to be carried between locations without the bulk of a conventional fuel generator. Its compact footprint can be useful in vehicles, tents, caravans and temporary workspaces where available room is limited. An integrated LED light with half, full and SOS modes also provides a practical source of illumination during camping trips or power interruptions.
