As you have an uninterruptible power supply installed, you know that it is crucially important to have it checked and maintained at regular intervals. UPS components can become weak and unreliable over time and without regular checks sudden failure may occur.
Our UPS inspection, service and testing will help prevent this happening to you by noticing failing components and batteries before it is too late.
During a routine UPS service visit we will carry out a full on-site inspection and service of your system which includes the following:-

Hampshire Generators can provide cover for all UPS equipment on next working day, 6 hour or 4 hour response. This is a nationwide service contract facility available so you can rest assured that there is someone available 24 hours per day / 365 days per year.
We are conveniently located between Portsmouth and Southampton. Not too far from other Hampshire towns and cities of Fareham, Winchester, Petersfield, Alton, Basingstoke, Andover, Farnborough and Aldershot but we, of course, offer nationwide cover.
Impedance Testing of UPS batteries is a good way of seeing if they will perform when required – Hampshire Generators can perform this test and provide a full report on individual battery cells. The impedance test measures the internal resistance of the battery to see if it is within manufacturer’s tolerances. If not then the batteries can be replaced before failure occurs.
Hampshire Generators can replace the batteries on your UPS using high quality Yuasa or Fiamm branded items to manufacturer’s requirements. It is recommended that UPS batteries are replaced at around 5 to 7 years. We will also recycle your used batteries and properly dispose of them.
We have our own load banks that we use to exercise your UPS and make sure it functions perfectly on load – load bank testing is an important part of the routine and planned maintenance on any standby power system.
