...The Silent Guardian of Your Operations
Every second of downtime costs money. Whether it’s a sudden power cut, an unexpected outage, or a critical system failure, the ripple effect can disrupt workflows, damage equipment, and erode customer trust. In high-stakes environments such as construction sites, data centres, healthcare facilities, or event management, reliability isn’t just a preference; it’s a necessity.
The Pramac PX4000 2.7kW portable petrol generator is engineered to eliminate single points of failure. It doesn’t just provide power, it ensures continuity, compliance, and peace of mind. Built for professionals who demand resilience without compromise, this generator is your first line of defence against operational disruption.
Uninterrupted Power When It Matters Most
Power failures don’t announce themselves. One moment, everything is running smoothly; the next, critical systems are offline, and your team scrambles to react. The Pramac PX4000 2.7kW 230V / 110V AVR petrol generator is designed to bridge that gap seamlessly and silently.
- 2.7kW standby power / 2.3kW continuous power ensures your essential systems stay operational during outages, giving you the buffer to shut down safely or maintain critical functions without interruption.
- AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) protects sensitive electronics from surges or drops, preventing costly damage to computers, medical equipment, or industrial machinery.
- Low noise (65dBA @ 7m) means it can operate in noise-sensitive environments without causing disruptions or violating regulations.
This isn’t just a generator. It’s a continuity assurance.
Reliability Under Load: Engineered for Real-World Demands
Not all generators are built to handle sustained use. Cheap alternatives cut corners with underpowered engines that overheat, stall, or fail when you need them most. The Pramac PX4000 rejects that compromise.
- SR170F engine delivers robust torque and efficiency, ensuring consistent performance even under heavy loads.
- 3000 rpm operating speed balances power output with fuel efficiency, reducing wear and extending the generator’s lifespan.
- Air-cooled design eliminates the need for complex coolant systems, cutting maintenance costs and simplifying long-term operation.
When the grid fails, your equipment shouldn’t.
Mobility Without Sacrificing Performance
A generator that’s bolted to the floor is only useful in one place. The Pramac PX4000 is built for agility, whether you’re moving between job sites, responding to emergencies, or deploying in dynamic environments.
- Compact design fits through standard doorways and tight spaces yet doesn’t sacrifice power or durability.
- Integrated handle and wheels make it easy to manoeuvre, even when fully loaded.
- Dual sockets (1 x 110V 32A / 1 x 230V 16A) provide flexibility for a wide range of equipment, from power tools to medical devices.
No more wrestling with unwieldy machinery. No more delays while you figure out how to transport it. The PX4000 is ready when you are.
Smooth Start, No Surprises
Recoil starts can be jerky, inconsistent, and sometimes downright frustrating. The last thing you need when the power goes out is a generator that fights you. The Pramac PX4000 changes that.
- Smooth recoil start eliminates the guesswork, ensuring reliable ignition every time.
- Low vibration design reduces operator fatigue and prolongs the generator’s mechanical life.
Start it once. Use it confidently.
Compliance, Safety, and Operational Peace of Mind
Regulatory standards for power equipment are there to protect people, property, and your bottom line. The Pramac PX4000 meets and exceeds the strictest requirements.
- 65dBA noise level ensures compliance with workplace and residential noise ordinances.
- Stable, regulated output safeguards sensitive electronics from voltage spikes or drops.
- Robust construction reduces the risk of accidents in high-traffic or hazardous environments.
This generator doesn’t just keep the lights on. It keeps you compliant, safe, and in control.
Why the Pramac PX4000 Stands Apart
The Pramac PX4000 2.7kW portable petrol generator addresses the core vulnerabilities that plague unreliable power solutions. Sudden power outages threaten productivity and equipment. The 2.7kW standby power and AVR ensure stable output, protecting your operations from costly disruptions.
Unreliable generators break down under pressure. The SR170F engine and air-cooled design deliver consistent performance without the maintenance headaches of inferior models.
Noise restrictions and workplace safety standards can derail projects. With a 65dBA noise level and compact, mobile design, the PX4000 meets regulatory demands without sacrificing power or convenience.
Recoil starts and unstable voltage are relics of outdated technology. The smooth recoil start and AVR provide hassle-free reliability, so you can focus on the job, not the generator.
Invest in Continuity, Not Compromises
The Pramac PX4000 2.7kW portable petrol generator isn’t just another piece of equipment. It’s a critical layer of defence against the unpredictable. Whether you’re safeguarding a construction project, ensuring a hospital’s backup power, or powering an outdoor event, this generator delivers the reliability you need.
Stop hoping for the best. Start guaranteeing it.
Maintenance and Storage
Routine maintenance is essential to ensure your generator continues to perform at its best. Regular oil changes, air filter inspections, and general servicing will help maximise reliability, efficiency, and engine lifespan.
If the generator is to be stored for an extended period, it is recommended to either drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops or use a suitable fuel stabiliser. This helps prevent fuel deterioration, carburettor blockages, and starting issues caused by stale petrol.
By following the recommended maintenance schedule and storage procedures, the Pramac PX4000 can provide many years of dependable service.

In most cases, a product on our website will give you an indication of the current stock availability, but shipping is not uniform for all products. We maintain fantastic relationships with all of our suppliers and we aim to get products to customers within 3 business days of the order being taken. This availability is based on information from our suppliers and from sales and supply patterns. The availability information given is a guide only and not a guarantee as there are external factors that we may not have control over.
Coronavirus Update – UK couriers and transport companies will not currently guarantee delivery times and we are seeing a slight delay in deliveries – please bear this in mind when ordering.
Specialist Couriers – Some items such as the larger portable power stations are sent by specialist courier as standard couriers will not accept them. These specialist couriers are very reliable but sometimes don’t have tracking or timed delivery.
Split deliveries – We sometimes need to send orders for more than one item by different courier networks (portable power stations for example) – so you may receive items at different times.
1500rpm machines or larger diesel gensets however are typically priced on application and all depend on the destination. We will be happy to quote on any large diesel generator and discuss your needs over the phone or via email.
Most orders placed before 12pm on a business day will be shipped from our suppliers on the same day provided the product is in stock. If you need to be certain an item is in stock and available, or if you need a lead time, it’s worth calling our sales team on 01329 722390. Pricing for extended shipping areas like Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and outlying Islands, Outer Hebrides, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, and other postcodes not considered as UK mainland are calculated at the checkout or can be obtained by calling our offices.
Please note that the processing of a payment and acknowledgement email does not constitute a legally binding contract. In the case of mispricing, changes in stock quantity, or if we believe the machine will be misused, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.
Heavy Items
You will be contacted by phone after ordering a larger item to confirm a delivery date before your order is dispatched. Large or heavy items are dispatched through a pallet network, so if we can’t get in contact with you, we may be unable to send out your item on a next day delivery. Please be sure to include a working phone number with your order.
Heavy items will require the recipient to make arrangements to take delivery of the goods and may require the recipient to help the courier unload the item. For items that are delivered on a pallet the courier will leave the pallet as close to your door as possible.
1500rpm diesel generators will require forklift (or similar) offloading; if this is not available then we can arrange a Hiab offload at an additional price – please call us to discuss any delivery requirements.
