...One power cut. One flicker. One corrupted file. That is all it takes to turn a routine working day into a costly recovery exercise. For any business that depends on a PC, till, router, or server, the grid is a single point of failure you cannot control — but you can contain it.
The Riello iPlug 800VA is a plug and play UPS that sits quietly between your equipment and the mains, ready to take over the moment power fails. No configuration, no installation engineer, no IT project. You plug it in, connect your devices, and the protection is live. At 4.1kg, it is light enough to move between desks or sites in seconds, and compact enough to disappear beside a monitor or under a counter.
This is not a passive power strip. It is a continuity layer.
Riello iPlug 800VA: Protection Where It Matters Most
The iPlug 800VA gives you eight sockets, but it treats them differently — because your equipment does not all carry the same risk. Five sockets deliver full UPS battery backup with surge protection, covering the devices that cannot afford to drop. Three sockets provide surge protection only, so you can power printers, scanners, and monitors without wasting backup capacity on equipment that does not need it.
The result:
- critical systems stay alive
- non-critical equipment stays safe
- every watt of the 480W active power goes where it matters
The switchover is the quiet hero of this design. When the mains fails, the Riello iPlug 800VA transfers to battery in 2–6 milliseconds — faster than your equipment can even register a problem. There is no reboot, no lost session, no unsaved work. Under a typical load, you get around five minutes of backup, which is not a power source for the afternoon — it is a controlled window to save your work and shut down cleanly. That is the difference between a minor interruption and a full recovery project.
IPG 800 UK UPS: Ready Again, Fast
A UPS is only useful if it is ready for the next event. The IPG 800 UK UPS recharges in 6–8 hours when plugged into the mains, so after any outage, the unit is back to full strength and ready to protect again — usually long before your day ends.
And because the batteries are covered by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, the long-term cost of ownership is predictable. No surprise replacement bills in year three. No maintenance overhead creeping into your budget. The warranty is not a footnote; it is a commitment that the protection you bought will still be protecting years from now.
Monitor Your Power, Not Just Your Equipment
The iPlug 800VA does more than switch over — it tells you what is happening. USB communication connects the unit to your computer, giving you real-time visibility of power status, load, and battery health. You are not guessing whether your protection is working. You can see it.
For a business owner, that transparency is worth more than the hardware alone. It turns power management from a “hope for the best” exercise into a monitored, controlled process.
The commercial payoff is straightforward:
- Reduced downtime risk — the 2–6ms switchover and five-minute backup window protect your work, your data, and your client commitments.
- Lower replacement costs — surge protection on all eight sockets shields equipment worth many times the cost of the UPS itself.
- Predictable ownership — a 5-year warranty and fast recharge keep maintenance and replacement costs off your forecast.
- Zero implementation friction — plug and play installation, 4.1kg weight, and a compact footprint mean protection is live in minutes, anywhere you need it.
The Riello iPlug 800VA is not the most complicated UPS on the market. It is the most sensible one. It protects the equipment your business depends on, tells you when it is working, and backs that promise with five years of warranty. When the power fails — and it will — you will be glad it is plugged in.
Protect the work you cannot afford to lose with the Riello iPlug 800VA.
One Licence. Total Visibility. Zero Surprises.
Managing UPS assets across a site usually means juggling multiple tools, licence keys, and manual checks. That overhead creates blind spots—and blind spots cost uptime.
Riello Powershield³ consolidates everything under a single virtual licence.
- Start free, scale to 32. The free version covers single UPS management. Upgrade to the full version and control up to 32 systems from one dashboard—no hardware dongles, no per-unit licencing.
- See the full picture. Graphic monitoring of UPS and environmental sensors, plus an events log with graphical parameter display, means you catch drift before it becomes downtime.
- Automated shutdown, your way. Unattended shutdown of networked PCs uses a fully customisable procedure. Set it once, and every machine follows the same safe sequence.
- Broad operating system support keeps your existing infrastructure in place.
Supported operating systems:
- Windows 11, 10, 8, Server 2022, 2019, 2016 and previous versions, Windows Server Virtualization Hyper-V
- Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft SCVMMâ„¢
- Linux on X86, X86_64 and IA64 processors

...When will I receive my order?
In most cases, a product on our website will give you an indication of the current stock availability, but shipping is not uniform for all products. We maintain fantastic relationships with all of our suppliers and we aim to get products to customers within 3 business days of the order being taken. This availability is based on information from our suppliers and from sales and supply patterns. The availability information given is a guide only and not a guarantee as there are external factors that we may not have control over.
Coronavirus Update – UK couriers and transport companies will not currently guarantee delivery times and we are seeing a slight delay in deliveries – please bear this in mind when ordering.
Specialist Couriers – Some items such as the larger portable power stations are sent by specialist courier as standard couriers will not accept them. These specialist couriers are very reliable but sometimes don’t have tracking or timed delivery.
Split deliveries – We sometimes need to send orders for more than one item by different courier networks (portable power stations for example) – so you may receive items at different times.
1500rpm machines or larger diesel gensets however are typically priced on application and all depend on the destination. We will be happy to quote on any large diesel generator and discuss your needs over the phone or via email.
Most orders placed before 12pm on a business day will be shipped from our suppliers on the same day provided the product is in stock. If you need to be certain an item is in stock and available, or if you need a lead time, it’s worth calling our sales team on 01329 722390. Pricing for extended shipping areas like Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and outlying Islands, Outer Hebrides, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, and other postcodes not considered as UK mainland are calculated at the checkout or can be obtained by calling our offices.
Please note that the processing of a payment and acknowledgement email does not constitute a legally binding contract. In the case of mispricing, changes in stock quantity, or if we believe the machine will be misused, we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.
Heavy Items
You will be contacted by phone after ordering a larger item to confirm a delivery date before your order is dispatched. Large or heavy items are dispatched through a pallet network, so if we can’t get in contact with you, we may be unable to send out your item on a next day delivery. Please be sure to include a working phone number with your order.
Heavy items will require the recipient to make arrangements to take delivery of the goods and may require the recipient to help the courier unload the item. For items that are delivered on a pallet the courier will leave the pallet as close to your door as possible.
1500rpm diesel generators will require forklift (or similar) offloading; if this is not available then we can arrange a Hiab offload at an additional price – please call us to discuss any delivery requirements.
